A Biblical Defense of Arrogance and Seeking One’s Own Glory and a Rebuttal of Christian Monkish Mediocrity Monday, Apr 27 2020

Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Romans 2: 10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1 Corinthians 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.

1 Corinthians 11:15 But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering.

1 Corinthians 15:40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 1 Corinthians 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory. 1 Cor. 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption: 43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power: 44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

2 Thessalonians 2:14 Whereunto he called you by our gospel, to the obtaining of the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

1 Peter 1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

1 Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

Was There Another Who Created and Received Glory With the Father? Thursday, Sep 12 2019

Isa. 45: 5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me: 6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Isa. 44: 8 Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.

Isa. 46: 9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, 10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

Isaiah 42:8 I am the Lord: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

Isaiah 48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

Notice in all these passages the God speaking is an “I” and a “Me”, a single person speaking; no a “we” or an “us”. There is nothing here of an abstract nature(There is no agreement with them whether the divine nature is numeric or generic) as the definition of the one God which can then manifest as three persons. The one God is always identified as a single person. Of course the Trinitarians will Move the Goal Posts at this point, deny Private Judgment and Perspicuity of Scripture,  and claim that when we are speaking about the divine nature which is infinite “human language” is insufficient to describe the incomprehensible nature of God.

Not only so they are comfortable simply admitting that these passages in Isaiah utterly contradict other undisputable passages of scripture from the Old Testament and New that another agent worked with God in creation.

Gen. 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:

1 Cor. 8: 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Eph. 3: 9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ

So what is Yah saying? He is saying that he is the only first cause and independent sovereign creator.

So what of these passages of Yah stating he will not share his glory with another as he seems to do with the Lord Jesus Christ in the New Testament? Dr. Samuel Clarke states in his Modest Plea,

Clarke 1

And again, to deny our understanding of this contradicts not only the New Testament but the Old Testament as well,

Daniel 7: 13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. 14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Original Feminism Just as Hateful Thursday, Feb 18 2016

It is often the refuge of liberals who criticize Feminism, when pressed to acknowledge the definition of Feminism as the social equality of the male and female gender, to proclaim the equality of the sexes  but denounce modern Feminism as not a movement of equality but of man-hating in pursuit of supremacy.  What these naïve liberals do not understand is that Feminism, from its beginning, has been luxuriously garbed in a robe of man-hating in pursuit of social supremacy. Let us take into consideration some of the quotations from the famous Declaration of Sentiments, where we read in its opening  theses:

“The history of mankind is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations on the part of man toward woman, having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over her.”

Absolute Tyranny?! Knowing that the traditional wife had her husband’s ear, and in many circumstances a royal ear at that, in a way exponentially more influential and advantageous than most men and regarding her husband, more influential than even his Pastor, the Declaration, in a direct attempt to incite hatred among the sexes states,

“Having deprived her of this first right of a citizen, the elective franchise, thereby leaving her without representation in the halls of legislation, he has oppressed her on all sides.”

Oppressed her on all sides? How is it that our people have fallen for such deliberately pathetic invective? It next refers to the woman as “civilly dead”!  Not silent; not ignored; no…………dead!  The Declaration next attempts to accuse man of theft  from a person he was entirely responsible for in matters material. It then refers to the marriage relationship as slavery, referring to a husband as “to all intents and purposes, her master”.  In a deliberate attempt to incite hatred toward men the Declaration states,

“He has endeavored, in every way that he could to destroy her confidence in her own powers, to lessen her self-respect, and to make her willing to lead a dependent and abject life.”

Abject? Do you know what abject means reader? In my Merriam-Webster’s dictionary the first definition of this word is “extremely bad or severe”.  I couldn’t ask for a clearer attempt to incite hatred toward men than this tripe!

Thus, it is utterly pathetic and a direct attempt to avoid the humble pie that Bible believers such as myself have prepared for liberals,  that these naive cowards reject the modern Feminist movement. They know that admitting the failure of equality is a huge vindication of Southern Protestant “Racists”, “Sexists” and “Fascists”. The sad part is, their pride is more important to them than the happiness of the next generation.  A sad reality that many Americans have suffered under for a long time.

The Pagan Roots of God and Theos Thursday, Feb 18 2016

The Origin of Pagan Idolatry By George Stanley Faber, Vol. 2, 207-208

“13. Theus, Theuth, or Thoth, was likewise a name of Mars or Ares. Hence Macrobius joins the god of war with Mercury, and declares him to be equally the Sun. The warrior Mercury was the Woden or Wudd of the Scythic tribes: and Wudd or Budd was the same as the Indo-Scythic Buddha, whose worship was brought from Asia into Europe by the Gothic emigrants from Cashgar and Bokhara. Ares or Heres was among the eastern nations a title of the Sun: and Mars, as the Latins compoundedly expressed the word, is but Ma-Ares or the great Ares. As Mars, from his identity with the solar Taut or Mercury, was called Theus-Ares; so Dionusus bore the kindred appellation of Dus-Ares. Each of these names is Thoth-Ares or Thoth the Sun: and it may be observed, that from Thoth or Theuth the Greeks borrowed their word Theus as the Latins did their Deus, which they severally used by way of eminence to denote the godhead. Our English word God has been taken from another appellation of this same deity, which together with our language we received from our Indo-Scythic ancestors. God, Ghaut, Godama, and Gautama, are varied titles of Wudd or Buddha; and Buddha is the same as Thoth or Hermes.”
